Palm Bay, FL - The United Third Bridge (UTB) will host the 28th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and Multicultural Festival this Saturday, October 4, 2025. The parade begins at 10 a.m. in front of Walmart on Malabar Road and will end at Eastern Florida State College’s Palm Bay Campus on San Filippo Drive. Following the parade, the festival will continue until 7 p.m. with music, food, cultural displays, and family-friendly activities.
Road Closures and Traffic Impact
To accommodate the parade, Malabar Road will be completely closed in both directions between Emerson Drive and San Filippo Drive beginning at 9 a.m. San Filippo Drive will also be closed between Malabar Road and Jupiter Boulevard. Roads will reopen once the parade clears, estimated around noon. Drivers should expect heavy delays and plan alternate routes.
- Interstate 95 traffic will be routed east on Malabar Road.
- Motorists are encouraged to use Palm Bay Road or Babcock Street as alternate routes.
- Residents in nearby neighborhoods should expect restricted access while the parade is underway.
Parade and Festival Highlights
This year’s theme is “The Echoes of Wisdom of Our Elders” and the event is dedicated to Orocovis, Puerto Rico. Attendees can expect:

- A classic car showcase
- Salsa lessons, kids’ activities, and wellness exhibits
The event is free and open to the public. Proceeds raised support scholarships for local Hispanic students.
