The City of Palm Bay, Florida, is set to hold a public hearing on April 6, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. at City Hall, 120 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay, to enact Ordinance 2023-10. This ordinance aims to amend the Code of Ordinances, Title V, Legislative, Chapter 50, Elections, Subchapter ‘Filling of Vacancies’, by modifying provisions contained therein pursuant to the Palm Bay City Charter[1]. The policy will set guidelines for selecting an appointee for the vacant Palm Bay City Council Seat 5. Interested applicants must submit their applications for the vacant seat before 5 PM on March 29th.
